I've never been the kind of person who waits until everything is in order before deciding to show up for herself. Not at 40, not at 55, and certainly not now at 68.
I think a lot of women get sold this idea that taking care of yourself is something you earn. Like you have to hit a certain point of discipline, or a certain season of life, before you're allowed to invest in how you feel. I've just never believed that.
For me, it's always been about the small things done consistently. The morning stretch before my feet even hit the floor. The way I make my coffee slowly, on purpose, before the day has a chance to rush me. The skin routine that isn't about chasing something but about maintaining what I've always valued, which is feeling at home in my body.
I get asked a lot what my secret is. And I think people are expecting me to name a product or a program. But honestly? It's a decision. It's choosing, every single day, to treat your body and your face and your mind like they matter. Because they do. They always did.
What's changed over the years isn't the commitment. It's the tools. I know more now. I've found things that actually work at a level I can feel and see. And I share them here because when something genuinely moves the needle for me, I want you to know about it.
That's what this space is for. Not perfection. Just real life, lived well.
